Mikaela was born and rased in Umeå, a town in the northern part of Sweden. She has completed a two year degree at Calle Flygare Theatre school and she also studied acting for one year at Edelvik community college. Mikaela his currently living in Stockholm, and has lived in Los Angeles, Umeå and Burträsk.

During her childhood, Mikaela experienced many different environments both in and outside of Sweden, big cities, small cities and suburban settings. Through her volunteer work and working with children and young people through the YMCA, Mikaela is an experienced leader with a greater understanding of peoples differences, personalities and life situations. Her experiences have led her to a understand a wide spectrum of emotions, which is used in her work with developing and portraying characters.

Mikaela is creative in her role interpretation and knows that it is the hard work, research, studying and the details that makes the difference in bringing characters to life. She is often described as a positive, warm and genuine person. She is always positive and open to new challenges.
